Morton Grove Offers Outdoor Activities Galore

North Branch Trail. Love riding bikes, walking, or jogging? The North Branch Trail offers 20 miles of paved and unpaved trails that follow the north branch of the Chicago River. Ride around 12 miles north to GlenCoe to visit the Chicago Botanic Garden!

Harrer Park. Set on 20 acres of land, this beautiful park offers playgrounds, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, a walking path, and a community swimming pool. The park hosts sporting events, and over the summer, visit for outdoor movies, concerts, and the 4th of July fireworks. 

Austin Park. Just a few minutes east of Metro on Main, Austin Park offers a recently renovated park, including a beautiful new playground, pollinator garden, gaga ball, walking path and more. 

Linne Woods. This gorgeous area is just a few minutes north of Metro on Main. It offers trail access to the N North Branch Trails, as well as a canoe landing for canoeing and kayaking and access to hiking, horse trails, and cross country skiing.
