Lexington Homes Opens Luxury Single-Family Model at Lexington Towne Near Downtown Arlington Heights, Ill.
Chicago-based Lexington Homes has announced the grand opening of a decorated model at Lexington Towne at Arlington Heights, an enclave of 15 single-family homes within walking distance to downtown Arlington Heights, Ill. To celebrate the model opening, Lexington is offering a limited time special for the next few weeks – $50,000 in options for only $25,000 on all homes, including the community’s one immediate-delivery home.
Located at the intersection of Kasper Avenue and Campbell Street, just a half-mile from downtown Arlington Heights, homes at Lexington Towne range in size from 2,951 to 3,761 square feet and offer four to six bedrooms, 3½ baths, unfinished basements and two- or three-car garages. Pricing starts in the mid $700,000s.
Buyers can choose from four floor plans – the Arlington, Brighton, Concord and Dunton – each offering a variety of options and upgrades so every home has its own unique look and feel. The Dunton design features a first-floor master suite along with a large open-concept great room and kitchen area, while the other three plans offer second-floor master suites. Exterior designs include a farmhouse elevation with a wide front porch, a traditional home design and a craftsman-style home.
“Our new model does a great job demonstrating the spaciousness of the plan and its various options, showing extra bedroom and bath configurations that are possible due to our flexible two-story family room design,” said Jeff Benach, principal of Lexington Homes. “The model shows how buyers can get a lot more house on the second floor, and those who don’t need that can enjoy the expansive two-story design. The model also highlights new technology advancements and storage designs that make homes at Lexington Towne extremely functional for today’s busy and modern lifestyles, including zoned heating and air conditioning with two Nest thermostats and a conveniently located drop zone with an electronics’ charging station between the kitchen and garage.”
While touring the new model, buyers also can experience the beautiful setting of the homes, which are located in an established residential area with many mature trees, added Benach. Also, all home sites are fully sodded and come with a professional landscape package including shrubs, flowers and plants.
The new model features the 3,327 square-foot Brighton floor plan, which is priced from $784,990 and comes standard with four bedrooms, 3½ baths and a two-car garage. However, the model has been upgraded to a five-bedroom home with two Jack-and-Jill baths and a three-car garage, for a total of 3,678 square feet.
To the right of the model’s entrance, a study is decorated as a home office with upgraded French doors. On the other side of the foyer is the dining room, which comes with a tray ceiling and optional crown molding. Lining the back of the home is a generously sized kitchen with breakfast nook that opens into a family room that includes a fireplace with limestone surround. Abundant storage space in the kitchen is on full display with a walk-in pantry, oversized kitchen island and butler’s pantry. The kitchen showcases quartz countertops, slow-close cabinetry, an oversized ceramic tile backsplash and the GE Profile stainless steel appliance package that comes with all homes.
Rounding out the first floor is a drop zone with lower cabinets that is set up as a charging station, an expansive mudroom – outfitted with upgraded flooring and storage cubbies – and a large laundry room with utility sink and optional cabinetry. The mudroom provides access to the garage, which shows a stylish optional epoxy floor.
The entire first floor of the model has dark hardwood flooring, which is standard in the kitchen, living room and hallways. Leading up to the second floor is a staircase showing optional oak railings and oak stair treads. Upstairs, the model shows optional hardwood flooring in the second-floor hallway and carpeting in all bedrooms.
Occupying almost one-third of the second floor is the master suite, which has a tray ceiling and an upgraded deluxe master bath outfitted with a corner soaking tub, shower, private water closet and separate dual vanities. A highlight of the suite is the massive walk-in closet that has two separate wardrobe areas, each with plenty of room to accommodate clothing for multiple seasons.
In lieu of a two-story family room, a fifth bedroom has been added upstairs. To show how the floor plan can easily accommodate a large family and the morning rush of getting ready for school or work, each pair of bedrooms shares a Jack-and-Jill bath with a private shower/tub and toilet. This layout option allows multiple children or guests to be getting ready simultaneously without getting in the way as some may be showering while others brush their teeth or use the vanity area.
In addition to the new model, Lexington Homes has also released an immediate-delivery home at Lexington Towne. Priced at $793,023, the home features the Arlington floor plan with a craftsman exterior. Inside are four bedrooms, 2½ baths, a study and two-car garage. The home’s first floor has hardwood flooring throughout, a dining room, and a combination family room, breakfast nook and kitchen. An upgraded smudge-proof slate finish appliance package is featured in the kitchen while the family room boasts a traditional fireplace with mantel. Other standout features include a butler’s pantry, walk-in pantry, laundry room and mudroom. Upstairs, the master suite has an updated large ceramic tile floor in the master bath and decorative Listello tiles as well as built-in shelving in the shower.
Homes at Lexington Towne come standard with a two-story family room with the option to fill in the two-story space with a fifth bedroom or loft. While each home includes a sizable master suite with a walk-in closet, buyers have the option to add a deluxe master bath that includes a soaking tub and large walk-in shower as well as a second-floor laundry room. The first-floor study also can be upgraded to a guest suite in each plan.
Standard features at Lexington Towne include granite countertops, GE Profile stainless steel appliances and 42-inch upper cabinets in the kitchen; raised-height vanities with granite or marble countertops in all baths; fireplaces; and tray ceilings in dining rooms and master bedrooms.
According to Benach, in addition to the great home designs at Lexington Towne, another key selling point with buyers so far has been the community’s highly desirable location, just a short walk to downtown Arlington Heights. As one of Chicago’s most popular suburban downtowns, the area is known for its great restaurants, shops, theaters, performing arts centers, and quick commute to the city via its Metra station, as detailed in this recent Daily Herald story.
Arlington Heights, which was recently voted “One of the Most Desirable Downtowns” in a Daily Herald newspaper survey, is located just 25 miles from Chicago’s Loop and less than 25 miles from O’Hare International Airport.
