Lexington Homes Building Custom Homes in Kildeer
Leslie Mann, Special to the Tribune
Chicago-based Lexington Homes has begun construction of two single-family houses in Kildeer. They are in the 26-lot Woodleaf, which is part of a larger development called The Sanctuary Club.
The spec houses are being built by Lexington's new custom home division, Portfolio Homes, and scheduled for completion next spring. Buyers can choose from Portfolio's floor plans, use a Portfolio architect to design a custom plan or hire their own architects.
Both houses will have two stories, four bedrooms and 31/2 bathrooms. First floors will include dining and living rooms, studies, great rooms with fireplaces, and kitchens with islands and breakfast nooks.
One home is 4,400 square feet and priced at $899,900, and the other is 3,600 square feet and costs $799,900.
Prices include landscaping, hardwood flooring on the first floors, commercial-grade appliances, granite countertops and exteriors that are combination brick, stone and cedar.
"(Woodleaf) is a magnificent piece of property. No homes back up to other homes, but rather to rolling hills, abundant mature trees and water features," said Lexington Homes co-principal Jeff Benach.
The homes, at 23099 North Sanctuary Club Drive, are open by appointment. For more information, call Jeff Ohm at 847-821-9090, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit lexingtonchicago.com.
