Lexington built a large portion of the residential there, including a new townhouse product called the \u201ccoach home.\u201d We expanded to other NW Suburban locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1980s: Lexington becomes the largest and most prolific builder in the suburbs, building over 1000 homes. We also expanded into the rental market.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1990s: We branch beyond the NW Suburbs with Concord Homes, developing Meadowbrook, a master planned community in Lake in the Hills and a city division with locations in River North, the West Loop, and Hyde Park.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2000s: Lexington is reinvented as a product and lifestyle developer, building intimate, smaller scale communities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2010s: We are the only large-scale, locally based, privately owned homebuilder to weather the Great Recession in Chicagoland.
