Chicago Magazine highlighted it as a \u201cgritty-cool neighborhood,\u201d calling out some of its best shops, entertainment, and \u201cflourishing\u201d restaurant and bar scene. A few hot spots mentioned include Parachute, one of Bon Appetit\u2019s best restaurants of 2015, The Beer Temple, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, and the Revolution Brewing Taproom. Some cultural highlights include the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, the Joong Boo Market\u2014featuring Korean food and more, and the Kurowski Sausage Shop for some good Polish deli food.
